William E. Ward – Mr. Ward graduated from Emory University with a B.A. in history in 1978 and received his law degree from Duke University in 1981. He is a member of the Delaware and Georgia Bar Associations and the American Bar Association. He is a partner in the firm of Ward & Taylor, LLC working primarily in the area of residential real estate. He teaches real estate law for the Delaware School of Real Estate and is a frequent lecturer on real estate issues at seminars and classes sponsored by the New Castle County Board of Realtors, Kent County Association of Realtors, Sussex County Association of Realtors and the Delaware Association of Realtors. Bill was awarded the Education Award by the New Castle County Board of Realtors in 1996, 2004, and 2009, and the Affiliate of the Year Award by the same organization in 1997. He served on the Education Subcommittee of the Delaware Real Estate Commission from 1990-1997 and again from 1998-2002. He was chairman of the Subcommittee in 1999. Bill is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the New Castle County Board of Realtors, Delaware Housing and Opportunity Fund and the Diamond State Land Trust. He lives in Landenberg, PA with his wife and two children and loves golf, tennis and most of all, Duke basketball.
