Do you want to know ‘What’s up’ in the Cape Henlopen Region? Then meet José Quiñones, owner/broker of Linda Vista Real Estate Services. Jose is the go-to guy for all things real estate because he is not just a realtor, but an investor and community developer. Just look at his Vlog, I Am Sussex, a personally produced series that celebrates life in Sussex County.

Born in New York City, José spent his childhood in Puerto Rico, and came to the Cape Region in the early 1990’s as a single father of three children; he currently lives in Milton, Delaware with his beautiful wife Yvette and their son, Trey.

Much of José Quiñones’ success stems from his driving mission: “To develop strategic alliances to strengthen communities,” which is one of the many reasons the Chamber of Commerce conferred on him their 2018 Trailblazer Award.  He values every relationship he has and uses his superpower of making people feel worthy to bring them to the table and close the deal.

You’ll see José around town everywhere – enjoying the sunrise on the sand at Herring Point, riding around town in his beach buggy, or indulging in an occasional Orange Crush (the area’s signature beverage.) You can also often find José at a local coffee shop chatting up the owner and early-risers alike: He is hard pressed to enter any room without being greeted by people whom he has met on his journey – clients whose homes he helped them buy, other real estate agents he befriended at the settlement table, or soon to be new friends.

“I was lucky enough to find the Cape Henlopen Region and call it my home. Now I’m on a mission to help others do the same” says José, because, as you’ll often hear him assert, “That’s what’s up.”
